Creep Show are the latest electro project on the scene, bringing together best friends John Grant with analogue superstar Wrangler. The result is their new single ‘Modern Parenting’ – a dark, brooding electronic number with sparse beats and a slightly spooky vocal from Grant. It’s purposefully weird and wonderful, with choice lines including ‘did you ever stop to think what you’re gonna do when the doggy jumps the fence and sets his sights on you’ – all sung in a Fresh Prince Of Bell Air-inspired, sing-song fashion. The track is taken from their debut album together, titled Mr Dynamite, which will be released in its entirety on 16^th March via Bella Union. -HM
